Optical Mouse - An optical mouse is a mouse without the tracker ball. It works on the principle of optics. It is much better than the conventional simple mouse
I use an optical mouse. The main problem with the simple mouse is that it gathers dust and other dirt, these things collect inside and hinder the movement of rollers and the wheel hence the mouse does not move freely. Also you have to keep finding proper surfaces to use the mouse
