Day 3: My Friend Wrote This About PayPal

Indonesia
February 14, 2021 6:44pm CST
So it turns out that other than for shopping, there are so many things we can do with our PayPal account. Including turning it into a tip jar, making donations, accept more than just US dollars, and send invoices... Another one I'm excited about is to use it to purchase cryptocurrency. I'm pretty excited about this... but it's not coming to Southeast Asia any time soon. What do you think? Will PayPal become active in crypto?? Source:
Guess what? You can use PayPal for a lot more things than online shopping.

@L_i_zz_y That's not really new, Bitcoin has been around since 2009 and people were still having doubts at that time.

We can buy and sell crypto here in the U.S. We can also start money pools and share money amongst friends.

Maybe we can do that in Indonesia too. I don't know. But crypto is allowed in Indonesia as a digital currency.

@L_i_zz_y You'll have to check the website and app, as different regions have different rules.

It looks like it's still separate between Crypto and PayPal in Indonesia, I hope the two can work together.

This sounds a bit too complicated for me, but I suppose they need to cover as many currencies as they can to get more customers.

There's so many currencies. I only know Bitcoin, and I can't afford it with or without PayPal.

I would be very happy if Paypal could accept and pay using crypto money. Because right now I'm also trying to mine bitcoin.

It will be very useful. Are you mining a lot of Bitcoin? You can get a lot of money for it.
