This is a work of fiction and it is about the memoirs of a Parisian shop girl who is actually a teddy bear. I enjoyed reading this book because it was very quaint and it had lots of lovely pictures of teddy bears all the way through it. Ophelia was the owner of a shop in Paris and this story is told as her diary for one eventful year in her life. Each chapter is a new month and it tells how Ophelia spent the whole year in Paris working in her shop and entertaining her friends. Of course her friends were also teddy bears and some of them had some very interesting names and personalities. The pictures in this book are actually of real teddy bears dressed up in fancy dress clothes . Some are funny , others are cute and most of them are just eccentric.
