The other day, I watched Amazing Grace, the John Newton story. Newton, a sailor and a slave, penned the lyrics after he discovered Christ amid a journey at sea that would have claimed his life. Despite that, he sailed slaves from Africa to the Western world. A wretched deed that he regretted, and wrote Amazing Grace.
Today, I stumbled upon the story life of Harriet Tubman, a black slave of a woman who won her freedom and had set others free, too. Such admirable strength and courage. She also attributed her amazing resolve to the Christ who guided her.

@eileenleyva Wow! Wow! It's so sweet, I just read and visualized how amazing the story was. History is rich in so many aspects. Surely it deserves the Tittle"amazing Grace"

Both John Newton and Harriet Tubman couldn't change the circumstances fate propelled them to. But they were gifted with intelligence and both embarked on the missions set before them. Both stories are indeed amazing.
