My Favorite Etsy: Sew I Sea

United States
February 18, 2021 5:16pm CST
It has been a few days since I've made a discussion about etsy stores that I like. Sew I Sea is one I came across when I was trying to think of gifts for friends. I don't remember quite what I was planning to do with the sea pottery / sea glass / seashells this Scottish seller sells, but.. Well here's the shop. Do you collect treasures from the sea? When was the last time you went to the beach? Beach or Mountains?

@Tina30219 A friend was telling me that the beaches around the great lakes are made up of a completely different type of sand. We were going to go a few year ago when were in Ohio, but we ended up going home instead.

@Deepizzaguy Yes, I'm too far away from a beach as well.

@ScribbledAdNauseum When my relatives moved from Panama to Louisiana in 1978, my beach days ended.

I used to have a lot of seashells. The last time we were in the Florida Keys was 2000. We hope to go in September. Definitely beach.

I hope you'll be able to go in September! We are going to the lake next month, but we haven't planned a beach trip together yet.

It's been a while beach going. I bus, so now beaches far & not all have restroom, many homeless, so stopped altogether. But when I was driving I'd love to pick shells. Sold them all.

We used to have a large bucket of shells here but I don't know what happened to them. We never did anything with them. I've heard about the homeless living along the beaches across Hawaii. Well, I've seen it when i used to watch Dog The Bounty Hunter.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It's better now, but I still won't go to beach.

A nice treasure for good memories. We had a whole bucket of them under the sink and I have no idea what happened to them.
