memorial service

longer than expected

We had a really nice memorial service at church today. A lot of people came. After the service, the pastor and his wife were going to take one of the men out to dinner for his birthday, and they invited me to come, too. We went to his Italian place across town, and it was good. It was nice to get out--haven't been out like that since my own birthday back in November. One of the ladies drove me home after we were done, and I'll see them all again at church tomorrow. I didn't expect to be out that long, but it was okay. It gave the paint in here some time to dry.

I hope you were able to eat safely. We haven't gone out to dinner for about a year, now. I'll be glad when the pandemic is over.
