Day 194
Promise 656, 657, 658, 659
2 Timothy 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet He abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.
People look for sayings and proverbs to make their life meaningful.
Paul gave Timothy several promises as a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. He told him he would live with Him and reign with Him. He also told Timothy if he denied Jesus, Jesus would deny him. No matter what he did, Jesus would always remain faithful.
As Christians, when you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, you became dead to sin. Sin no longer held you in its grip. Jesus’ blood broke Satan’s chains off your life. Therefore, you are alive in Jesus Christ.
Satan will bring trouble and tribulation against you because you gave your life to Jesus. Your suffering will not go unnoticed. Because your life is in Jesus Christ, you will reign with Him.
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (KJV)
Paul also told Timothy if he denied Jesus, Jesus would deny him. The same is true with you. If you deny the work of God in your life; if you deny Jesus as your Savior and Lord; Jesus will deny knowing you.
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever, therefore, shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. (KJV)
No matter what you do with your life, Jesus will always be faithful to every promise given to His children. Knowing His faithfulness, it’s fruitful to be faithful to Him, knowing the end of your life is better than the beginning when you will live and reign with Him for eternity.
Let’s pray: Father, help me remain faithful to You in everything I say and do. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Maybe the world, the relatives and the friends will betray us,but God never will betray us if we follow his summons. The pain and dark we suffered in this life is the grace from the God,we have to thank to God for his benevolent grace and pass his final test. Then we could get into the heaven and own the bliss for good.
The hearts of the people is lost boats in the sea, only God is the bright lighthouse which could take us home.

You are right that God will never betray us. However, our pain and suffering are not from God, but Satan. God only gives us good gifts in this life. Everything else is from the evil one. Have a blessed day.
