I admire the way that Jennie Tatum who lives in Murfreesboro Tennessee went her desire to do what it takes to rescue her pet dog Sid who fell into her backyard pool during the winter weather period where the swimming pool disregarding her own well being.
Jennie admitted that she acted on courage when she dove into her swimming pool that was frozen to rescue her dog by breaking the ice and being able to locate her dog after two tries of searching for her pet.
Jennie was successful in saving her dog who weighs 50 pounds and was near death due to exposure inside the frozen pool by taking her dog inside of her home and using a blanket to warm up her dog who was on the doorstep of death according to veterinarian April Smith who assisted Sid to make a full recovery.
I will give Jennie a badge of courage for doing what she did to save her dog from death while he jumped into a frozen swimming pool by accident.

I agree with Jim. Sometimes heroism and foolishness are the same thing. I know we love our pets. But not enough to almost die for them.

That is a good question why the pool was not covered during the snowstorm.

I agree with you since she was willing to save her dog since very few owners have the courage of entering cold pools.

I'm so glad Jennie was able to save her dog. I wonder why the dog went into the pool? Maybe he does that in the summer time?

Dogs always seem to like to get into trouble.
