Tomorrow will be the 300th anniversary of the death of the 19th century Romantic era poet, John Keats. He hardly had any fame during his lifetime, but after his death, he became very highly valued as a poet in his short 26 year life. His tombstone in the Protestant Cemetery in Rome ends with the words, "Here is one whose name was writ in water." This statement turns out not to be true.

A tragic life in many ways.
