My Mom has two full sisters and she had three half sisters. Aunt V is her full sister, though I don’t really like distinguishing the two, my Nonna was given some meds or vitamins to take in 1950, when she was pregnant with my Aunt V, my Mom the youngest would be born a year and a half later, and my Uncle is the oldest, of the full siblings, anyway my Nonna was prescribed a certain med, I believe for Nausea, that ended up having a lot of adverse affects, so my Aunt V was born with a birth defect that left her mentally disabled, but when I was younger she used to paint pics of me, and on occasion my Mom would let her watch us for a short period of time, now she is nor able to do that, and requires round the clock care!
I remember my Aunt V, being stubborn, and determined, she liked to argue, but she had a good heart and was very artistic, taken after my Grandfather!

Well the most important thing, is she's happy and has a talent she can use.

Great painting. I'm glad to hear that she flourished in spite of her challenges.
