Got my nails done - daughter's treat.

Last Thursday, my daughter told me that we were going to get our nails done after she got off work on Friday. I'd been thinking about it for a while, but couldn't really afford to do it. She told me I was going to get help nails because they play longer. Fine by me. I just knew having "fake" nails kept me from biting my real ones. I especially wanted them because my nails are getting thin and more brittle, so they'd break just enough to snag on things. I picked out my color before I went, but happened to see that they also did nail art and decided to express my inner cat lady. With a little black cat. I'm disappointed that it's not quite as cute as the ones on their web page, but I'll live with it until I go again. Everyone's nail art skills differ. I know it's a cat and that makes me feel good. I have decided, though, for next time, I'll get them shorter and flat across the top. They do get in the way a bit. Something else in willing to live with until I go back. In the mean time, I'm happy to know I have decent looking nails to present in public.
