Full Moon (Snow Moon) This Weekend

I enjoy seeing the full moon when I can. Often the clouds will mess up the view. Looks like that will happen this weekend. We are suppose to have a rainy weekend. And this weekend is what the Farmer's Almanac calls our Snow Moon.
According to the Almanac, the reason for the name is this.. it’s known as the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall that occurs in February. On average, February is the United States’ snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather Service.
Maybe March will start to bring more spring-like weather for many of us. I hope you can see the full moon on February 27th, if you are interested. I have been watching it all week.

@CarolDM Here the moon is sometimes so low that it gives the impression that it can be touched. It doesn’t happen often, once a year

I don't really need a good reason to go look at the moon. It's a beautiful thing.

@CarolDM We used to have a telescope here and would go look at the moon and stars at least weekly. I would love to vacation somewhere with a large sky light for stargazing.

@CarolDM Yes, and for some reason I always picture him in the lower left side of the moon. We had a nice chat, too. lol To be honest, I talk to him even if I see a sliver of a moon. It makes me feel a tiny bit better. I don't like it when it's rainy or cloudy during full moons, but there's nothing we can do.

I am expecting tonight we'll be witnessing full moon .
Out our sight of the moon is always high.. only my eyes can captures it properly
