Lots of kids and teenagers were playing in our neighborhood - like at least 3 dozen. No social distancing, like covid isn't still a thing. Then I heard lots of running, i thought they were still playing. Turns out they were running from people in the barangay. (only 2 or 3) Nothing is done though, since they didn't catch a single one. just another day in our neighborhood...

I guess kids do miss the outside world that they forgot that virus is still out there.

Their priority is playing. Staying in the house is boring for them.

@lady1993 I guess it’s really hard for them to stay indoors especially if they were used to be put in the open during the pre covid times. All of a sudden they were ordered to stay indoors this long.

@prinzcy Because gatherings are still not allowed here. Some were not wearing masks too. People from the barangay catch those people.

Kids will be kids. They want to live life, not worry about their actions. Most kids are like that.

The " Barangay Captain " should call a special meeting and summon the parents of these minors ( they have a liability). Is there an informal settlement within your Barangay?

I wouldn't even count on it, the mayor is pretty strict about wearing masks and the curfew~ but our place isn't easily visible from the main road so is sometimes dismissed.
