The other day my mom's friend came here for breakfast morning. He's still works as teacher and they were having survey about taking the sinovac or the china made covid19 vaccine. We were in agreement then not to take because we thought it may not be effective. I rather continue to avoid and submit to protocol until hopefully the one from the US version ( I think ) is perfected.
But situation made me think twice because something happened. Our local village chairman contracted the virus. Worst, mom was in the office with him for a pic a week ago when she receive an award for her work and it was also her advance bday party. Then that private party with the family in my eldest brother's house last thurs.
That forced us to get quaranteed as well. But I wished I had taken the swab test too, because I never got that result from the last years expensive test.
If her results are negative, you think I can still avail for the vaccine? With the virus getting this close, the sino vac could be the only possible left for me...
Maybe we should really do the strict quarantine again...Sadly, mom is allergic to vaccines. I'm still scared of the side effects still.

With the vaccine not everyone needs to have it done that is why it’s optional. The idea is to get as many people that can as possible because like any thing herb immunity helps lesson how many people will get as will as kill it of. This is why those vaccine children get they don’t get sick because they already have it and can’t get. Chicken pox is like give it to needle everyone there for nobody gets it because they have already had it.

@Letranknight2015 COVID shot will help if you haven’t had having it the shot won’t do much for you since you already have it. But who’s to say you can’t have it more then once. It could be like the flu a yearly thing.

Hello @ShyBear88 I really hope I don't have it. I would seriously feel sad for my family members who made contact with me for like that one particular day.

Hope your mom isn't infected. Same goes for everyone in the household that was with your mom the past week or so.
