i am like typing on a heated pan. My fingertips have become flattened a bit. I really should not be using the laptop while it's charging - or any other device really. i hear it ruins the battery? but i cannot just stop working. I'm torn.

I type on mine all day while it is plugged in. That way it stay charged unless I take it with me on the road. Than I charge it when I get home using my other laptop.

@jstory07 I'm tempted to do that too. but i usually just charge it when it only has 30-40% battery.

Most of the time it will damage the battery due to heat.

My laptop works fine and what I do is I charge it up fully and then plug it out and work on it until it runs out and I do this all day then when I am done for the day I let it charge up fully and put the laptop to sleep and in the morning unplug and start working. I seems to work out well, I also type on a keyboard I attache to the laptop because I don't like to work directly on the laptop keyboard, I also make sure the room in which I work is at a normal temperature and when the degrees go up I put on the air conditioner,

I'm gonna try this method. i really need to take care of this laptop since it is the company's, and not mine at all.

In phones, yes it will but in laptop, I am using my old laptop while it is charging. I am just using it unplugged when I am not in our house.
