one more minute.. becomes two, becomes 30 minutes. i am also like this. One more minute of reading or playing games, but then it gets so interesting or fun that you do not notice how time flew by.

Like the suspension of deliberations in Congress - the chairperson bangs the gavel and says "session suspended for 5 minutes". I don't think it's really 5 minutes only. Same with sessions in city and municipal councils.
