Heartbreaking (Local Teen Killed in hit and Run)

A local teen was killed in a hot and run, she was only seventeen, and I believe she was killed over the weekend, it's heartbreaking really, and now the family is in search of anyone who may have seen anything!
My heart goes out to the family of this young girl of course, and I hope that if anyone saw anything they say something, it won't bring the girl back of course but it may just save another person's life.
I don't personally know the family but living in a small close knit area for the most part, things like this are definitely felt.
For those who pray, I'm sure the family would appreciate your prayers, and or good thoughts.
