So many appointments!

I have gotten 2 calls today, one to set up my appointment for the 11th where they will run a scope down my throat to check out my stomach. And then another one just now for a COVID test on the 9th.
Then after the appointment on the 11th I am going to have many more appointments for the surgery, dietician, counselors, etc.
I hate going out of the house, but this all has to be done so I am just going to have to power through it.
My ride isn't going to be too happy with all these appointments. He is elderly with a bad back and has a lot of appointments himself to go to. I hate to ask him to take me to all these appointments but I have no other option.

Hopefully in the future you can try to put all your appointments on the same day. I'm guessing the Covid test is to make sure you're not positive.
NC does have the medical bus thing, but I don't know how you'd go about being eligible and if they're even running.

Yea, I can't make them the same day it's whenever they want me to come unfortunately. And yes, the covid test is to make sure I am not positive before going in to have the scope ran down my throat.

@AngelisaQT I just realized the bus I'm thinking about is only for the triad area, but they do medical pick up and drop offs for people...
I wish it wasn't so difficult for you. I know that would make me not want to go to the appointments at all.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yea, but it has to be done. I need to get this weight off of me for my health. I gained about 100lbs after having my gallbladder removed and having a hard time getting it off.

You need a covid test here in Newfoundland before you can get scope. Just had one recently myself. God awful test, both of them, but necessary. Good luck with all your appointments. :)

We live in a very small town, there isn't any buses or anything like that. I can't afford an Uber or anything.
