While having low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) lets me eat sugary stuff which I like as I have a sweet tooth it has resulted in weight gain .A low blood sugar state induces palpitation and hunger which is not a comfortable situation.
If you are a low blood sugar candidate how do you cope?

I try to eat often, so that I don't feel driven to the sweets. I try to make my meals balanced and not use it as an excuse not to be active. Not ignoring hunger is a big one. And, I test at least once a day. Sometimes more if I'm feeling off. I know I'll likely test high, usually if I've had a lot of starches over the past few days or if I'm stressed or anxious.

That is quite a way to keep in check. Yes. eating small meals often seems the solution. Thank you for your input

@allknowing Also do your research and make sure you understand how different foods contribute to your sugar levels. You can get the sugar boost you need from slow burning carbs for example, like fruit and veggies. In this way, you're staying healthy and keeping your sugars in check.
