Slowly Getting Things In Order

I’m slowly getting things in order, donating and chucking out things I no longer want or need, giving things away, even selling some, and then I can start with the other project like shadow boxes for Little Misses Brownies Uniform, and my Grandfathers call sheet from Little House on the Prairie!
I’m hoping they with things starting to reopen, I can even get some more donations gone. I have a huge bag of stuffed animals to donate , minus a few I’m keeping, and the decorative bears, I’ve tossed out several pairs of Little Misses jeans, she had outgrown, and were a little distressed lol, I get the distressed look is in, but her jeans were a little worse for the wear, the ones in good shape were donated!
They are going to be moving, I’m not sure where yet, but they have too, other than that I really haven’t seen much of her, she doesn’t really like my rules, but I believe boundaries have to be drawn.
Anyway it feels good to start getting things the way I want them.

Rules and boundaries for kids is good. They need them. I'm glad you are making progress with your cleaning. I am wanting to go through the clothes rack in the laundry room. I know we can clean off at least 1/3 of it of things that do not fit anymore!

Thank you, it’s amazing the stuff I am finding I don’t need anymore!

I am happy that I got rid of two full bags of clothes. My husband took it with him and distributed it to few families in his native place. So they have reached the needy
Now I am moving on with some more decluttering.
Doing it slowly a bit every day.

If truth be told, we could probably get rid of half of what we have and not miss anything. I really need to get hopping on cleaning out more "stuff". It's a shame that Little Miss doesn't like your rules...they are necessary.

There is of course the stuff I’m keeping, especially old photo’s and things passed down from generations but you are right..l.kind of blame her lack of respect for rules on her Mom, she doesn’t really have them at home!

Feels good to do this. You are very thoughtful to sort between those that are "rags" and for donation.

I wouldn’t want to donate something I wouldn’t want Little Miss to wear!
