And, so around and around we go.

Just when we think we know what to expect, Pizza Hut loves to throw a curveball. This time, George is getting bounced around again. This time back to Beville for at least two weeks. And, instead of having Wednesday off he's got Friday. Thuresday remained the same, because I have a doctor's appointment. I will get two mornings of uninterupted sleep and I won't know what to do with myself. Got the laundry done, so I won't have to worry about that tonight.

Getting some much-needed sleep is a good way to relax and refresh, Sorry about all the problems with Pizza Hut,

That's what happens when you are married to someone in the food service industry. It's considered "essental" work, but it's a real pain. Because stuff can change on a dime. Now George knows why I refuse to set my alarm in advance.

@kaylachan well best of luck to you both with the changes and I hope you get into a routine that won't be too disruptive.

Once Rachel can decide where to place George, it should be fairly stable. I just take it one day at a time. @RasmaSandra

@CarolDM Me too. George is taking it in stride, and complaining to me about it.

What does he do at pizza hut? I've not eaten there for a very long time event though I do enjoy their pizzas.

I can’t believe George has another change and so soon. Glad he’s off for your doctor appointment at least.

Me, too. I think my sixth sense had something to do with it. Before I needed to go for my blood work, I asked him to make sure that Lindsy knew I had blood work and a doctor's appointment, since he'd been bounced back and forth. Turned out I had been right, because he's back at Beville for the next two weeks. His RGM's are flexiable about giving him the time off. Which is good. I wouldn't go without him, not because he's my ride, but because I don't trust doctors and they tend to treat me differently when he's around vs when I'm alone. Bad enough doctors bully me about getting on the scale. Yeah, no. Not going there. They should be happy I put my body through hell twice a year to get blood work done. I am not putting up with more than I need to.

@kaylachan It’s good to have a sixth sense. My husband usually comes with me when I meet new doctors, but I go alone to appointments. However, I would want him there for sure if I received bad news. In your case, I don’t blame you one bit. Have a good appointment!

Being able to get back-to-back nights of uninterrupted sleep, and get the the laundry done as well has to be a bug relief.

It always is. My husband has had non-stop openings for the past couple of weeks. So i've been able to sleep pretty soundly as a result.

I hate irregular hours at work. I worked the night shift awhile back and hated it. Fortunately have been working a regular 5 day a week, 8 hour job for awhile and not being bounced around. Sounds like this problem you guys were having was eventually resolved judging from another post.

Well, yes and no. My husband came home the other day and was told that Port orange and Beville have to "share" him for two weeks after Lindnsy comes back from her vacation.

They can, and it's the food service industry. George has survived 27 years at Pizza Hut, and while it's rough now, he'll survive until he's ready to retire.
