Prepaid or postpaid?

I got to the one that I feel or think that is a better option.
I used to have a plan internet service by using that pocket wifi that came with my iPad, the contract lasted for 36 months, yes, 3 long years. It ended last November, thank God. I paid around $17 monthly, whether the internet is good or bad, I have to pay that amount.
But even before the contract ends, with my need of internet service and the current wifi service that I am getting, I bought the prepaid wifi modem.
The prepaid modem that I bought has an initial 10 GB that is consumable for 1 week and for the price of Php999.00 or $21(rough computation depends on the rate, lol). And has been spending Php200.00 or around $4 per week.
The data is consumable, so if i use more time watching Netflix or Viu, i will consume more

, so I have to just limit my usage.
Anyways, one friend told me to just apply for the postpaid, unlimited internet and that costs around $34 monthly, too much for me. I have to limit my expenses. My internet might be unlimited but my pocket has limits!
And better for me to use the prepaid one too, since I have other things to do and not just watching Korean dramas on Netflix or in Viu.
