Good neighbor save story from New York state

Rochester New York resident David Lovett admits that he is not a hero despite the fact that he acted on his knowledge of knowing what to do this morning when he looked outside of his home and he saw his next door neighbors house on fire. David's wife called 911 to report the incident about the fire in the neighbors home while he ran out of his home to make an attempt to save his next door neighbor from passing away from the fire around 2:30am. When David arrived at the home, the elderly man asked David to rescue his wife who was trapped inside the smoked filled home which made it hard for David to find the female. David used his hearing to locate the elderly woman as she cried for help which assisted David to get her out of the burning home by grabbing her and despite falling down a couple of times down the stairs, he was able to get her out of the danger zone to safety before the local firefighters arrived to put out the flames. The good part of this story is that there were no serious injuries in the incident even though the roof of one of the two houses that caught fire lost a roof that fell down. The elderly couple and a neighbor will be living in a temporary home that the American Red Cross will give them until they can get back on their feet once again. The elderly couple are grateful that David did his part to play a good neighbor and rescue them from dying in a house fire.
