this air conditioner is making my hair dry and sticky

We do not have air conditioning at home, i am at my grandma's house right now, in the guest room.
After sleeping here and working for a bit, i tried combing my hair but it was so hard. 
This air condition is not good for me. Made me feel sleepy while working too.

Air conditioning dries out the air. You may need a humidifier to help restore some of the moisture to the air.

That’s why we have a humidifier in each and every room in the house. Air conditioner makes the air dry.
