I was trying to think of things to keep him busy, and as we walked by the kitchen table, where I do my rock painting, I asked him if he wanted to paint rocks. He said yes, so I grabbed some rocks out of my "rock box" and we got out paint and a couple of paper bags for pallates and went at it. My nephew said, when I guessed, that the first rock he painted was supposed to be "the Joker". The second one he said was "the Flash." Evidently my nephew is into DC comics--I'm more of a Marvel fan myself. I used a little personal fan I have to help them dry, and then we put them out in different places in the sun. They were dry by the time he and my brother left . I didn't do as good a job (had trouble concentrating as hard with someone else there) on the rock I managed to do a design on (moon and stars), but it's not too bad. The green rock is going to be a "Hobbit hole" when I'm done, but I'm definitely going to work on it when I am able to concentrate a bit better. When I looked in my "rock box" I saw that my supply is getting low. I'll have to get some more so that I'll be ready should my nephew want to paint again. I think he enjoyed himself.
