Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I wanted to discuss today "The Art of Selling". It's a unique talent which one has or is even learnt over a period of time. The topic is close to my heart as I have worked in sales for products as well as service based companies. Sales involve a lot of hard work as one has to go out in all weathers especially in India where it's too hot and humid in summers. Some people possesses selling skills on their own and some people learn/acquire over a period of time. Consumer service is given much importance before and after sales. However, not everyone can excel in sales because there are targets/goals to be attained and it also involves lot of traveling which not everyone is able to do. I feel selling a product is comparatively easy then selling of services. Products are tangible whereas services are intangible, mostly services gives an experience to consumer. Kindly let me know your thoughts about it. Has it ever happen to you that you didn't needed an item though you bought it as somehow you were convinced by the seller to buy it. Have a good day.
