100 years ago today: Go to your chiropractor to fix your face!

This was borrowed from The Richmond palladium and sun-telegram. [volume] (Richmond, Ind.) 1907-1939, March 17, 1921, Page PAGE FOUR, Image 4 Found on Chroniclingamerica.loc.gov Maybe Chiropractors did something very different back in the day, but I'm not sure how they would fix a 'sallow complexion". Maybe this chiropractor freelanced as a dermatologist? Or maybe it was like going to the barber to get your tooth pulled? Who knows! Obviously I'm not interested in digging more into this. *I realize they are trying to infer your sallow face is a result of a bad back*

Me neither and Me neither. I've heard they can do more harm than good, but then I don't know.

Ok, so the face is somehow associated to our back. Interesting.

@ScribbledAdNauseum that’s terrible but that’s creating a need that doesn’t exist. That’s marketing.

Maybe the job scopes for chiropractors are different back then

That is interesting to think someone would go to chiropractor to fix their face, Very odd, I did see online that chiropractors can help with headaches and sinuses,

Right, but I really think it's just a case of the chiropractor trying to find clever / eye catching phrasing.

As you said, I guess she has a sallow complexion due to back pain.

Or he. I suppose who could blame them? Back pain is no fun.
