Weeping Willow...

One of my favorite things about doing digital art, is that there is a way that you can turn pictures into paintings...by using digital paints.
It is very similar to painting with oils, or watercolors...the only difference is that it does not make a mess. The painting is done through a digital pallet.
I love doing abstract... I also loved this picture of a weeping willow along a trail and river. So I pulled out my digital tools and a way I went. I called this piece Weeping Blues...
This was the final result of my efforts. I personally like it. But then again... I have learned to enjoy the various forms of abstract art.

Seriously? You don't see the trees? The walkway? The river? I realize this type of art might not be your cup of tea, but it is clearly a landscape painting.

@teresatrotter Due to my vision loss, I struggle to see details. So, no. All I can see are all the different colors you used.

@kaylachan Sorry about your vision. I guess it would be hard to see the various objects in the painting.

This is why it is abstract. It was meant to be this way. I like to switch things up a bit from time to time.

I agree. It makes things easier to do.

I didn't have time either for years. However, now that I am fully retired, and in the middle of a pandemic...I do.
