The Tabernacle as the Ark of the New Covenant.

Central to the features of any Catholic church or chapel is the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle is a cuboid with a key. The priest keeps the Holy Host inside the Tabernacle.
I've always known that the Blessed Mother is the Ark of the Covenant but never knew, till today, that She is the Tabernacle.

As a child, I was very curious about what was inside that tabernacle too. I am amazed at how ornately designed they are. This is new trivia for me as well as this topic is never discussed in any religious subjects I have attended back in the days.

I knew about the Ark of the Covenant because that is mentioned in the Litany of the Holy Rosary. Yup, none of my Religion Classes discussed the Tabernacle except for the fact that a light must always be left on beside the cuboid.
Did you listen to Fr. Louie? He's very emphatic, ain't he? Probably talking to us the way he teaches the seminarians. Very informative sermon.
