Rest In Peace Beverly Clearly

Beverly Clearly passed away today at 104, leaving generations grieving the loss of an author so many of us grew to love, we related to Ramona, enjoyed the adventures of the Mouse and the Motorcycle and who could forget Dear Mr Henshaw? As a writer of Children’s and Young Adult, I try to keep track of recent authors, but writers like Beverly Clearly write stories that are timeless, Grandmothers and Grandchildren read these stories during different generations, and still they were enthralled. 104 years is a long time to live, and Beverly Clearly has left us with a timeless legacy.

Wow. It's amazing if most well-known people make it to 90... but 104 is amazing.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with her books. I grew up in a different generation of books I guess. May she rest in peace.

@Michellekidwell Then I guess my mother just chose different books. I remember a book about a rabbit and an egg; but I can't remember the name of it.

@LindaOHio I have vague memories of a similar book, likely one that had been passed down from my Mom and Aunts and Uncles...
