'Malai kulfi' a summer treat

It's hot here these days and I am longing for a 'malai kulfi' It takes me to the days when I was living in the city and there used to be a guy who would sell this dessert in the middle of the night waking up people from their slumber.
I was staying at my sister' s and she too would call out to the guy from her balcony and we all would have a midnight snack
Malai kulfi is made from milk that is cooked to a thick consisteny and enriched with sugar, saffron, cardamom and then frozen in cones.
If you get to taste it never miss out the opportunity

But you know it tastes different from ice cream. Kulfi is kulfi (lol)

I sounds delicious. Part of it sounds like our condensed milk.

@marguicha You cook the milk and thicken and then enrich it and put it in freezer cones.

We get condensed milk here but that is not used. Milk is reduced to a thick consistency and then enriched.

It's good to have frozen snacks especially now that the weather is hot. I think this is similar to ice cream on stick.
