A container ship has bunged up the Suez Canal. Along with the Panama Canal, its the worlds most critical seaway. 10% of the worlds trade goes through there. Did you know that at any one time one third of all container ships have stuff from China in them. Did you also know that the most exported thing in the world is ? RUBBISH. Yes, trash is exported from the west to the far east to be sorted, burnt and burred, 10% of all freight. This is how the west pretends its green and doing its bit to reduce carbon. Because we ( when the U.K were in the E.U) had to landfill as much as 40% of our trash in the European area we simply exported it to avoid huge fines. So they are desperately trying to re-float the huge ship. The vessels have been getting bigger and bigger and this was always going to happen, clearly not suited to the current channel width. I would put some air bags under it or barrage balloons on the top to lift it up a bit like the cartoon film Big.
