Our area is included in another enhanced community quarantine which starts today, ecq again after a year of this pandemic. Due to increasing covid19 positive this past days, our government implemented a week of ecq. Some establishments or should I say more establishments aside from essentials are more open now than before. Not totally lockdown compared before, so there are some people outside doing important errands but of course some are still going out without any valid reason at all. I hope people will stay home as much as possible, observed and implement health protocols so that we can protect ourselves and others as well.

So many of our fellow Filipinos do not believe anymore that COVID still exist in our country that is why so many go outside without observing the minimum protocols. If we all just cooperate and follow the rules then we will all vanquish this COVID 19 enemy soon.

Some are being so careless and irresponsible, not thinking about the safety of others.

That is somewhat true. A year after the first lockdown the virus is still very much active in our midst. It is hard to believe that the virus is still out there despite we were lockdown for a year already but the fact is all out there the pandemic is still in our midst.

Although the lockdown is not as strict as before many are now able to move around provided they have reason to be outside. Our office has decided to be on WFH starting tomorrow and we are all trying to arrange all the things we will be needing for work. I am trying to do everything that needs to be taken out of work and bring home this time. Hopefully this won't last long and we will again be able to go out to work soon.

@ardoy0731 Well they need to be. The only thing that the government is trying to be strict on is the flow of people coming in and out of NCR and nearby provinces. Malls and other commercial establishments are temporarily closed at the moment.

Not as strict as before but people should really be responsible and disciplined to avoid making our situation worse.

I hope the people learned something, do their part, and stop blaming the government. Anyways, think of it this way. You can use the one-week ECQ to reflect and have a more meaningful Holy week, Stay Safe
