If you are a fan of Historical fiction, and or romance then I would highly recommend When Twilight Breaks, which takes place in Munich in 1938.
Evelyn Brand is a foreign correspondent from America, trying to make her way in a male dominated profession, she must try to prove her worth as she tries to expose the the growing tyranny in Nazi Germany. In order to do so Evelyn she must walk a thin line. If she offends the government, she could be expelled from the country or worse. But if she fails to truthfully report on major stories, she'll never be able to give a voice to the oppressed and wake up the folks back home.
Peter Lang is an American graduate student who finds himself working on his PH.D German in another part of the city. He has become disillusioned by the chaos in the world due to the Great Depression, he is impressed with the prosperity and order of German society, that is until the brutality of the Nazi party hits close to him, and then he finds a better way to use his contacts with the Nazi Party, that is to feed information to the reporter he can’t get off his mind.
If this book sounds appealing to you, you can find it on Amazon, or other line retailers, or perhaps even at your local library.

It sounds too fake,if you're really living in a nazi country, there is no true love or fairy tale. It's a bloody and inhuman hell with the massacre, tyranny and genocide.I live in a nazi country,i know what will happen to a journalist who try to expose the truth. She will be second Doctor Li wen-liang,if she didn't stop her pursuit, she will be thrown into the mental hospital or secret prison. That's what she will get if she tried to expose the truth in a Nazi country.
If this story is true,i have to say,Nazi Germany was a democratic country, they still gave this poor girl some freedom to find and try to expose the evil. They were too benevolent. It made me crying. If i have a chance,i really wish to live in that democratic Nazi Germany. At least, they still gave people a little freedom.
Surely, that won't be true.Because Nazi is Nazi, evil is evil.In Nazi's country, women are slaves and toys of the rulers, men are the cattles and dogs of the rulers. That's all of it.

@Michellekidwell i'm sorry,i think i take it too serious. It's just something always come to me and let me live in a cynical life. That's what a country without freedom and human rights forges who i am now.
I wish this novel can be sold best and be read by more readers. As a writer,i know how difficult to write a novel and how anticipatory the author will be.I truly wish this novel will be some kind of best-seller.That's all i want to say.

The story is a fiction, a novel, I never claimed otherwise, I am very well aware of what Nazi Germany was like...I was reviewing a Christian fiction novel, that took place in the days before Kristallnacht for the most part!
