I don't get it why people assault other people?? It's disgusting!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I was wondering today why people assault other people. There are many types of assault taking place such as verbal assault as well as physical assault across the globe to both genders.
Luckily, in my life I haven't faced any such things till now, but I am sure that there are many people who have gone through it or are going through, what trauma they must be going through.
I seriously feel that a person engaging in any kind of assault is inhuman. I don't think there is any problem in the world which can't be sort out by talking with each other.
Let me know your thoughts about it. I just hope and pray that there happens a magic that assault stuff disappears from the face of this planet and everyone lives happily and peacefully.

Humans can be despicable creatures. I have been assaulted physically and sexually. Oddly some people get off on it, they may like the 'power' it gives them over other people... It makes people scared of you if you are unhinged enough to threaten peoples lives some people like that fear.

I do too, but people are angry and I really dont think they know why. We need to treat people like we want to be treated. That is one of the problems. Some people think they're better than others. Some don't have a very good understanding, so they act how they feel.

Humans are we all think differently. It would be nice if we all could be civil, However, anger is a nasty emotion and often difficult to control and release productivly.
