People placed on a live view to a kill.

The pandemia was supposed to be the main plot for Year 2020 AD. Yet, on 25 May and about weeks thereafter, the attention was panned to a disturbing brutal killing of a gentle giant by the name of George Floyd. If we turn back the tides of time, we would admit to being shocked at the blatant and totally inhuman act of curtailing a life by a police officer of a man who made no resistance. The trial of the accused has began. I watched and listened to the minute details of the narratives of the passers-by who were called to court to stand witness. That is the most fascinating thing, I realized, because the supposedly ordinary people going about their ordinary lives were placed right there so they could give an accurate and credible account of what happened. Two minors were on their way to the convenient store for a cellphone cord. As I always contend, Gen Zee is dependable when it comes to documenting events. They are quick with the cellphone and are not afraid to record anything. Subsequently, we, the rest of the world, also have become witnesses to the kill. Do we believe minors? Of course. There was even a child who was only there for snacks. At 9 years turning 10, her memory was vivid. Her character? Ain't questionable. Yet, to affirm the testimony true, that the event was a cold blood kill, among those shouting at the officers were a Martial Arts afficionado and an off-duty female firefighter. The first attested to the blood choke, or what he calls the shimmy move, that the officer subjected the unresisting George Floyd. The second offered her services to resuscitate the immobile victim, adamant that the weight of the officers on an unresponsive Floyd was uncalled for. Both affirmed that what transpired right before their very eyes was a "kill." Still the most agonizing statement came from the teen-age girl who said she has been 'apologizing to George Floyd ever since because she was not able to do more for him.'

Bleh, cops need to learn to restrain people without killing them... Nurses do it all the time and you never hear about them killing a patient because they knelt on their neck.

The case springs from lynching of black lives. Prevalent in America.

@eileenleyva Yeah, it is prevalent and it is disgusting. I was wondering if military personnel were about would they have been able to step in? Do they have authority in that situation? Or even personnel in an organisation such as federal police. I know if I was military or federal police I would have stepped in if I saw that happening anyways.

@Fa_Maverick The witnesses were constrained to act due to the fact they have to deal with the law enforcers. The police were committing the brutal crime regardless of the witnesses.

A life was taken by the police who swore to serve and protect. Violent enough for the world to react as intensely and passionately. What I wouldn't understand is for anyone to be unaffected by a brutal murder.

@ExplorewtMe Could be a murder in cold blood but a game-changer for the world.

That is the reason why I watched the entire proceedings. Very tragic end for George Floyd. He didn't deserve to die in cold blood.
