Collecting PenDelfin

United Kingdom

I expect most of you recognise these cute little figurines that are known as PenDelfins. Several years ago I started up a collection of these cute little rabbits and I brought many of them from charity shops and car boot sales. I was getting really interested in the subject of PenDelfins and I thought my collection may be worth selling one day . So when I saw this book for sale I decided to buy it to do some proper research. After reading the book, I was very disappointed because it turns out that many of the `PenDelfins ' in my collection were not genuine. Apparently these figures were often copied by other factories and only a handful of mine were actually the real thing.

Some of the rarer ones used to make good money, but these are not so popular for collectors these days.

@simplfred They were very popular in the UK several years ago, perhaps they are not so popular where you live.

They look so cute and adorable. I`m sure there are people will love it. I`m just not sure about the real ones or the imitations

They are adorable and the imitations are very realistic , so it is easy to mistake them for real ones.
