I admire the way that 11 year old Izzy Greenfelder shows care the K 9 dogs that work with the Bellevue Nebraska Police by working with her mom who owns Dogalicious Dog Treats.
Thanks to the profits that were earned through sales of the dog treats from last year that were around $2,000 dollars, Bellevue police officer Jim Bartley who is the partner of his dog Max, his dream of being able to have as a gift from Izzy and her mother a bulletproof vest came true.
The best part is that the sale of the bulletproof vest for the K 9 unit in Bellevue will be the beginning since the Bellevue K 9 unit at this time has four dogs on the force with three bulletproof vests worn by the dogs and their handlers will inspire Izzy and her mom to raise more money to assist the police in their community as well as nearby communities.

This is a great project since the dogs need to be protected too.
