Day 234 Promise 700 1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble. 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you. People like to be in control of their lives and surroundings. They don’t like being under anyone’s authority. However, Peter told the people to submit to God and He would exalt them. He told them to place their lives in God’s hands and He would take care of them. As Christians, it’s hard to take your hands off the controls of your lives. Yet, when you do and allow God to lead the way, He will always lead you in the right direction. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (KJV) When you place your life in His hands, submitting the smallest details to His care, He will take care of you. Let’s pray: Father, help me submit my life to Your tender care, knowing you will lead me in the right direction for my life because You care about me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
