i'm pretty busy and inactive here, but i came to share this with you
April is autism awareness month and April 2nd is Autism World Awareness Day.
Light It Up Blue is initiative dedicated to raising awareness of autism and the it's is associated with Autism Speaks. we were told it's about wearing something blue or turning on the blue lights - as much as i remember. blue - because boys are more often diagnosed with autism than girls.
two years ago when we had activities on this day our Faculty made activity for this day and we wore blue shirts and had blue balloons to show support and love to people with autism and i remember there was a puzzle saying "i also love someone with autism" and people could take a part in making that puzzle. and this year, all i can do is wear blue pajama and talk about this on the internet.
few nights ago i watched Croatian documentary Eugen, što želiš? (Eugen, what do you want?) - it's about a boy with autism and methods used in working with him. i also saw some articles about people with autism. i don't remember seeing that before, so i'm kinda glad that people talk about it now.
do you know something else about this day?
i hope you're all well, take care

I was researching Williams Syndrome today. Apparently it is related to autism, but may be its opposite. What fascinated me is that Williams Syndrome kids are unusually sensitive to music and emotions, and are sometimes really good at playing music.

@aureategloom Maybe because I took care of my nephew long time ago when I was still single and not married but I had a hard time way back and feel sorry for my big sister

@m_audrey6788 i'm sure your sister is handling it pretty well, no need to feel sorry for her.

@Robinhuut well, i'm not sure if those are "properties" it's just something to do for that day. all colors have meanings. different meanings in different countries. i've read some works about that for one of my subjects. it was interesting.
