As per requests, I'm posting a picture of the potting bench I got for my girlfriend, now that we got it assembled. It took awhile to assemble it, like 4 hours over a course of a few days. It was harder than we thought, to put together. Believe it or not, my girlfriend did most of the work of putting it together - she actually likes doing that kind of thing and she's better at it than I am. I definitely helped though. I think the hardest part was the door to the cabinet. We both agonized over that one for awhile, trying to figure it out and then putting it on right. Anyway, we both love it and she was very happy. She very much enjoys putting things together so that turned out to be part of the gift - her being able to accomplish assembling it. I think it looks very awesome and she says - and I agree - she's going to be able to do a lot with it.

That is a super cute (and practical) gift - and the bonus was getting that sense of accomplishment . Glad she loved it - I would too!

Thanks, yeah it's pretty awesome, and yes she really loved accomplishing putting it all together; she even said after all of it was done that that was part of the gift. Like I gave her an adventure too!

It is a pretty potting bench. Will you keep it inside or outside?

We discovered it wasn't finished so could get damaged outside. We talked about getting some finish and putting it on the bench but my girlfriend actually likes the idea of using it inside and getting some grow lights to use on it. It looks pretty cool where we have it, I think it would be awesome to keep it inside. But definitely would be cool to have it on the patio too.

it's cute to be honest. Your gf is good at anything DIY perhaps.

Yeah she's good at that kind of stuff. She put together some shelves for her plants awhile back. She likes doing it, likes figuring it out and getting it done.
