ever cheated in school?

I usually am one of the good students who let other people copy assignments but never cheat during exams - mostly because i was afraid of getting caught. 
But when i got to college, i was shocked to see that cheating was quite common. I still didn't though, expect for this one subject where the exams required you to memorize terms 3-5 chapters. 
That teacher didn't even discuss much, just make us read books.
I cheated just by asking questions to my seatmates/friends though , but some of my classmates had a whole list of terms under the exam sheet...quite fearless.

I don`t like to cheat. I`m scared of being caught by my teacher
