In my years of writing good news stories on this site, I have never reported the good deeds of college football cheerleaders who have used their first aid skills to save a stranger from choking on their food at a restaurant. Kayla Meyer who is a University of Nebraska college football cheerleader when she was having a meal with her mother at a restaurant in Lincoln when a man who was sitting near her and her mom started to choke on his meal. Kayla who has studied first aid courses at the university immediately by using CPR on the male customer who passed out from the stress of not being able to breathe when he choked on his food. The male victim managed to recover from his health scare thanks to the actions of Kayla who is a heroine for using her medical skills to save a life at a restaurant since she was just doing her duty as a private citizen,

Good for Kayla using what she learned. I think all kids in high school/college should be taught life saving skills.

You are right since one former You Tube host said on his vlogs that the media refuses to report good news stories.

@Deepizzaguy I also have never heard of cheerleaders doing something other than learning new cheers. Thank you for that George to show us that anyone can help another human being. She did a very good thing and not just a duty as a private citizen. Good for her and thank you that there are people that want to do good with things they learned. Good thing she was there to help him and saved him.
