Have you ever been waiting for too long in the hospital and what did you do about it ?

While I am writing on this discussion, I am waiting for my blood test in a hospital. I don’t know why it takes so long for my test but looks like there are still 48 people before me and it is so boring to wait in here . I can only do some mylot while I am waiting as I know that the hospital in our city is like that . Besides waiting , I can only do something productive with my phone and this is how this discussion comes up . ( I think I still have to wait for at least an hour since many of the blood test staffs are in their lunch right now and I think I will definitely come earlier whenever I have a blood test in the future again !) How was your experience? Share with us .

Thank you and it is over now. 3 hours of waiting . What a day today .

Yes, looks like playing with the phone is what we can do and not much other choice in nowadays

Yes, I sometimes will do that as well but I don’t think I have the mood to read my book even if I would bring my book today because there were full of people everywhere in the hospital today after the long Easter holidays . Anyway, I am glad it is over and I have got my blood test done after waiting for 3 whole hours .??

I had the same experience while I was still working in the center for abused girls. I was accompanying a sick girl for a check up in one of the big hospitals near the center. We just sat there in the waiting area outside the hospital laboratory. I could not use my personal phone because I was still on duty so to keep ourselves from being bored the girl and I just watched those passing in front of us and giggling at nonsense and funny "sights"

Wow, people passing by became your entertainment. Thank you for your response anyway. Finally I leave the hospital after my blood test which end up cause me to spent 3 whole hours in there without my lunch because I need to take my blood test with an empty stomach. That place was full of people today because after the long Easter holidays ( we have 5 days for Easter holiday in this year), the hospital got extremely busy today. Thank God . I am done with my test and got something to eat immediately because the waiting cause my blood gloucose level went down quickly. And I am able to do what I was planning to do now even it is getting a bit late for me .
