Landon Haas who is five years of age is being credited for remaining calm during a crisis when his next door neighbor who is in his 70 years of age range was screaming for someone to assist him as he fell down an embankment next to his driveway and he fell into a creek.
Landon who was playing outside of his parents home on a swing answered the call from the senior citizen yells for someone to assist him.
When Landon did see what happened that his next door neighbor was in danger of drowning, Landon ran to the his to inform his mom Lesley that she needed to assist their next door neighbor from drowning in a creek.
Lesley called 911 to inform the authorities about the incident. Lesley with the assistance of her four family members ran toward the creek to get the senior citizen out of the creek just in time since medical assistance came to take the senior citizen to a local hospital to be treated for his near death experience.
The senior citizen will recover from his near death experience which made Landon a very happy child who was rewarded the Hometown Hero Award from television station WSAZ which is located in Huntington West Virginia.
I am sure that city officials and the local fire and police departments will also give Landon some kind of awards for his act of using his wits to ask his family members to save the life of his neighbor on Tuesday.

@Deepizzaguy I am an optimist. I believe most kids and adults would.

Man by nature is helpful especially when someone is in great danger. And Landon did it.
