Only accupressure, it works the same way minus the needles
. I accupressure myself from time to time.

@db20747 I'm doing perfectly fine.
continous research and readings is a must to know the pressure points ( there are a lot), what organs they are connected to and what condition or conditions they relieve

@db20747 I can tell you that when done properly it does not hurt at all. Its just slipped under the top couple of layers of skin and should not draw blood. What I found to be the difficult part was lying completely still for the duration, 1 time I sneezed, and I moved and that caused the needles to be felt. Not good, but it only happened once.

I know of persons who recommend that I should try to use acupuncture as a way to get rid of pain. I have yet to try it though.

I've tried it - and it worked for me. Mine was for a quad muscle injury - and another time for my knee. It wasn't an instant thing . . . I had a few sessions of it over some weeks.
My friend got it done for her neck and shoulder - more like for stress relief though.

No, it involves more needles than I'm comfortable with. Besides, I've never understood the concept of causing pain to relieve pain.

Yes I have a couple of times in life.
It cured my back..I was not able to stand up and one treatment cured it.
I also had a lung condition and a friend of mine was an acupuncturist and opened my lungs..
It is amazing if you find someone who is truly a professional.
I am sorry about your Grandma.
