An extra long one...

Angel got up earlier today and looked at me expectantly. I asked her if she wanted to go for a walk, and sure enough, she did. I'm so pleased when she actually wants to go, that I drop everything and just go--like today, I was waiting for a phone call. 
Angel brought me over to the road parallel the airport, and she went the way that we used to go more often (though at one point she decided she was really interested in the grass, so I sat on a bench and waited for her to be done.
When we finally got to the point where we usually go through the fence and go home, Angel wanted to go further, so we continued up the trail until we got to another trail that led to our home street, and then we came home.
When I got home, sure enough there was a message on the machine, but the gal told me just the information I wanted to know, so I didn't have to call back.
Now, I am going to go and find something for lunch.

Happy to hear Angel is doing well and that she wanted a nice long walk.
