Plight of Immigrants to European Countries

It pains me every time I watch in the news that a boat has capsized in the Mediterranean ferrying immigrants from African countries to oversea in search of greener pastures.Men women and children all souls on board perish just like that.God alone can save the world

People could do a lot to save the world. Unfortunately, most people think only of themselves and not of others.

@Nungari1 I bet that the majority feels very much at home in their own mother land. Yet, if you don't have the opportunity of earning enough to lead a decent life, feeling at home isn't enough.

Yes it starts by you and me doing a little good deed here and there,a little love and kindness to those who need, it changes the World in huge ways. I just wish people would feel at home in their own mother land

We have the same problem with immigrants trying to come to the USA. There are way too many closed minded uptight people the world over. Very sad.

I know how you feel since there are horror stories from Cuban immigrants losing their lives trying to come to America in the Atlantic Ocean.
