I Learned Something New

I learned something that I had no idea about, I knew my Grandfather had played an extra on Little House on the Prairie, that my Mother and Grandparents had shared a meal with Michael Landon, what I did not know was that my a few years later when I was about a year my Grandfather had tried to get me on as an extra on the show. I don’t know what happened with that, but I thought it was kind of cute Thant my Grandfather wanted me on the show with him. Sadly my Grandfather passed before I was nine, so there was a lot I did not learn about him in life, but my Grandparents, Aunts and Uncle helped my cousins and I get to know him better. I do not want to sound as if I’m putting him on a pedestal there were mistakes he made in life, we all do, but I do believe it’s important that I have a understanding of who he was. P.S please excuse the marks, the photo survived a fire, that destroyed our house just months after we lost my Grandfather.,
