Sharing another special memory of my cat Sid, This was taken in Florida about a year before he passed on. He was deep in thought and I got to take a real close up photo. Do your pets sometimes appear to be really deep in thought?

Awww, such a sweet photo of Sid deep in thought. Doodles was always deep in thought. Lots on his mind.

@DianneN This was taken shortly before I lost Sid and I have a feeling he was thinking about his Papa and perhaps he felt he was going to see him soon he was very quiet and thoughtful at the end

A lot actually. I have lost lots of cat of mine. Sometimes I would remember them, especially when it's something that remind me of them.

Yes. So much so, that they don't appear to notice me. Mama cat will often jump unexpectedly if I touch her while her mind is on something else.

Cats are interesting that way @kaylachan I have wondered what they could be thinking about but toward the end of Sid's life I think he often thought about his beloved Papa and maybe in a way felt he would get to see him soon
