@DianneN This was taken shortly before I lost Sid and I have a feeling he was thinking about his Papa and perhaps he felt he was going to see him soon he was very quiet and thoughtful at the end

Yes. So much so, that they don't appear to notice me. Mama cat will often jump unexpectedly if I touch her while her mind is on something else.

Cats are interesting that way @kaylachan I have wondered what they could be thinking about but toward the end of Sid's life I think he often thought about his beloved Papa and maybe in a way felt he would get to see him soon

Oh yes my dogs often have very thoughtful looks but I suspect they are thinking about their next meal lol
